Pacific Economic Cooperation Council
PECC is a unique tripartite partnership of senior individuals from business and industry, government, academic and other intellectual circles. Established in 1980, the organization is the only non-governmental official observer of APEC.
APRU and PECC would be collaborating on an education project entitled "The Asia Pacific Education Market". The study would report on the evolution of the tertiary education supply chain, and make recommendations for education policy and business strategy initiatives.
More information on the development of the project will be made available soon.

Association of American Universities

Following APRU's involvement in past AAU meetings in the U.S., the AAU and APRU held a joint AAU-APRU Presidents Roundtable for the first time in Asia on 30 June to 1 July, 2005. Hosted by National University of Singapore, members of the two consortia discussed trends and developments in higher education and globalization. A rare opportunity for university presidents from America, Asia and Australasia to engage one another, APRU looks forward to future collaborative efforts between the members of both AAU and APRU.
