APRU Enterprise Conference

An APRU Enterprise Conference, organized by National University of Singapore (NUS) was held on October 30, 2003 in Singapore. The conference brought together some 31 representatives from 19 APRU member universities.

The day-long conference was co-chaired by University of Southern California and National University of Singapore. This conference provided an opportune platform for leaders in charge of entrepreneurship activities at APRU universities to convene and strategize on the future developments of the initiative. 

Participants actively exchanged views on technology licensing and commercialization, intellectual property management and entrepreneurship education.  Also explored were possible collaborations on a continuation of APRU's multi-university study on technology transfer, an APRU business plan competition and staff exchange program.

The conference was held in conjunction with the Global Entrepolis@Singapore. Organized by the Singapore Economic Development Board and IDG World Expo, this exhibition serves as a meeting ground of the world's finest enterprising mind, with an international showcase of leading edge technologies and innovations.
