Research Initiatives

APRU research initiatives aim to address critical research topics of common concern. These projects allow APRU member universities to gain a better understanding of issues of strategic importance to research universities through the sharing of best practices.

PECC-APRU Joint Study on "Asia Pacific Education Market"

APRU is collaborating with the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council (PECC) on a study entitled "The Asia Pacific Education Market".  The study will be coordinated by a group nominated by APRU and PECC with support from the Secretariats of both organizations.  Participating researchers recently convened at a workshop in Sydney.

A joint initiative by APRU and PECC, this research study will examine developments in the education sector, and the opportunities and challenges they present for regional economic integration and community building in the Asia Pacific.
