  Dr LIM Meng Kin has been appointed AWI Public Health Director to lead AWI activities in this theme. Dr Lim is an Associate Professor at the Department of Community, Occupational & Family Medicine, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore and formerly was the Chief Executive Officer of the Health Corporation of Singapore.

  Pacific Rim Cities: Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Strategies
  
  AWI is developing a multi-year research effort focused on the impact of climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies of major cities around the Pacific Rim.
  
  The Co-Directors of this project are Dr Lisa SHAFFER, Executive Director of the Environment and Sustainability Initiative at the University of California, San Diego, and Professor Jim FALK, Convener, of the Climate Adaptation Science and Policy Initiative at the University of Melbourne.
