The APRU Forest Ecosystems Living Lab Initiative (FELLI) is a collaborative program led by University of British Columbia and Universidad San Francisco de Quito.

FELLI aims to create a network of forest ecosystem living labs across APRU universities, defined as open innovation ecosystems where research is collaboratively established, tested, and refined in real-life environments. This initiative addresses critical forest ecosystem issues through innovative research, student engagement, and policy development, focusing on sustainable forest management, conservation, and creating measurable outcomes that benefit both human health and the environment.
