UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, is a global organization dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights and building a better future for people forced to flee their homes because of conflict and persecution.
This policy statement was developed as part of a panel on the drug problems in the Philippines that was held as part of the 2017 annual conference in Manila. Authors come from USC and the University of the Philippines.

The Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Working Group of the APRU Global Health Program conducted a joint survey, collecting data on socio-demographics, socioeconomic status, clinical information, lifestyle habits, resilience levels and its association with maladaptive coping behaviors. More papers will be published based on the survey analysis.
