APRU Orchestra

As an organization that promotes international collaboration and cultural exchange in the academic community. APRU has launched its first APRU Orchestra project in 2025. By bringing together musicians from various backgrounds, we create a powerful platform for collaboration and creativity. Our repertoire, which includes everything from traditional gamelan to beloved Western classics, demonstrates how music can transcend boundaries and promote understanding among different cultures.

The pilot performance of the APRU Orchestra is hosted by Universiti Malaya in October 2025 titled A Symphony of Cultures – East Meets West”

The next orchestra performance will be held in the Annual Presidents’ Meeting at the University of the Philippines in June 2026 at Manila.

A Symphony of Cultures – East Meets West”

The APRU Orchestra proudly presents a cross-cultural repertoire that brings together Asia-Pacific traditions and Western classical music, celebrating harmony through diversity. Each performance has been carefully curated to introduce audiences to both familiar favorites and hidden cultural treasures, reimagined with creativity and innovation.
