VinUniversity (VinUni) is the first private, not-for-profit university in Vietnam established in 2019 by Vingroup, the largest private conglomerate in the country.

The University has built strategic collaborations with Cornell University, the University of Pennsylvania and recently Nanyang Technological University, Singapore – a choice that speaks to our commitment to excellence, innovation in research and teaching, and to making a difference in the world.

The University comprises of the College of Arts and Sciences; College of Business and Management; College of Engineering and Computer Science; and College of Health Sciences and several Research Centers.

In September 2024, VinUni became the youngest and fastest university in the world to achieve QS 5 star overall rating. In October 2024, VinUni was appointed by UNESCO as the first and only UNESCO University Chair. In March 2025, VinUni became the youngest university in Vietnam to achieve institutional accreditation from the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) following international standards, right after its founding cohort of students graduated and within five years of its inception. Since June 2025, VinUni has officially entered a new chapter in its development: transitioning into a research- and innovation-oriented university, with an ambitious vision to join the world’s top 100 universities.
