The 18th APRU Global Health Conference 2025

The 18th APRU Global Health Conference 2025 is hosted by the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya (UM).

The theme “Towards Planetary Health Equity: A Global Call for Shared Solutions,” underscores the urgent need for interdisciplinary, collaborative action to address the intertwined challenges of health, climate change, and social equity.

Abstract Submission

We invite you to submit abstracts of 200-300 words that contribute to the advancement of global health and planetary health equity by July 31 May 31, 2025

The research abstracts much include:

  • Background: Statement of the issue or research hypothesis
  • Objectives: Specific aims of the study
  • Materials and Methods: Study design, methodology, and analytical approach
  • Results: Summary of key findings
  • Conclusions: Interpretation of results and implications for global health

 

Travel grants are not available for accepted oral or poster presentations.

Student Poster Contest

 

The APRU Global Health Program is organizing the 11th Annual Student Poster Contest in conjunction with the APRU Global Health Conference 2025

Current full-time undergraduate and graduate students (postdoctoral students are not eligible) from any university are invited to submit an academic poster, along with a separate written abstract of up to 300 words by July 1, 2025.

All eligible student posters will be displayed virtually at the conference even if students cannot attend in person. A prize of USD500 will be awarded for the best undergraduate and best graduate posters (one in each category) during the conference. 

The size of the poster should be A1 [59.4 x 84.1 centimeters (cm) or 23.4 x 33.1 inches (in)]. The minimum font size should be 18 pt. Posters should be only one page.

This year we had poster submissions from 24 universities in 10 economies (Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, the US, and Vietnam). Please see attached poster and information below.
